Call For Abstract Artists:

OCTOBER 10 - NOVEMBER 13
Area artists are invited to submit abstract art to an innovative exhibit at Better World Studios. We define “abstract art” as all visual art that is not realistic. Any medium is acceptable, 2-D or 3-D. Original works only.
Reception and Awards Ceremony: Friday October 10th, 6:00pm-8:00pm, Feel free to wear costumes or abstract garb.
Entry Fee: $30.00 for up to 3 works ($20.00 for BWS members. You can join BWS on the website for $25 or less)
Commission: 30% of sales goes to Better World Studios
Drop-Off: Friday, October 3rd and Saturday, October 4th. 10:am to 4:00 pm (No pre-registration)
Pick-Up: November 13th and November 14th, 10:00 am to 4:00pm
Instructions for hanging: All work MUST be wired properly on the back and ready for hanging. Gallery wrapped edges (1 ½” & painted) are acceptable on unframed stretched canvases. No unframed art on paper will be accepted.
Labels: Three labels will be required for each painting or work entered - one on the back, one on the front, and one to be turned in to us. Print Labels Here.

Holiday SMALL WALL Art Market
Call for Artisans: area artisans are invited to rent wall space in Better World Studios’ Hickman Hall to hang original art—from December 5th to the 25th.
Requirements: Original works only, under 196 square inches (14” x 14” or 12”x16”) and priced under $200. All work must be made by the artist/s in wall space. Artists are responsible for hanging their own work and maintaining their wall space, as well as for providing an Artists Statement with an image that represents themselves or their art. Entry Fee: Spaces from $25-$40 ($10/foot) for the duration.
Commission: 10% of sales goes to Better World Studios or 0% for members/volunteers.
Drop-Off: Set up begins on Monday, 12/2, 12:00-5:00pm. Work must be installed by December 5th at 5:00pm.
